The new agri-environmental ACRES co-operation (CP) scheme has been launched for farmers in Kerry & West Cork areas.
Farmers are being invited to meetings to inform them on how to find out if they are eligible for either the ACRES CP, (which we will be working on) or General stream of ACRES, how to apply, an overview of the objectives of the scheme in the cooperation areas and examples of actions they might be able to carry out on their farms under the scheme. The meetings will also outline what the Cooperation Project team will be doing to support the farmers and their advisors and introduce the regional staff to the farmers.
