Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) 2023

South Kerry Developments Partnership’s call for ORIS (Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme) Measure 1 projects.

This scheme funds but is not limited to, the upkeep, repair and development of trails, walkways, mountain access routes, cycleways, blueways recreational facilities at bogs, rivers, lakes and beaches, natural play areas that form part of a larger outdoor recreation project and the promotion and marketing of such infrastructure.

The deadline for Expressions of interest is the 31st of July 2023.

Santuary Scholarship 2023/2024

MTU, in partnership with the Tomar Trust, is offering a number of Sanctuary Scholarships to persons from an asylum-seeking or refugee background who do not otherwise qualify for financial support under the Free Fees Initiative, the SUSI grant scheme or the International Protection Student Scheme (for Further and Higher Education Students), and who wishes to pursue an undergraduate course in MTU in the academic year 2023/2024.

 

Applications are also accepted from migrants who have exceptional Stamp 4s or Stamp 3s and who do not qualify for financial support under any of the above mentioned schemes.

 

The successful applicant will be eligible for a Tuition fee, Student Contribution Charge, USI fee and Student Capitation Charge waiver for the duration of their course or until such time as they become eligible for the previously mentioned schemes.

 

The deadline for receipt of these applications is Friday, 23rd June 2023 at 5.00pm.

eCollege Open Day 2023

eCollege is the national online learning service for further education and training. It is a completely online, continuous intake, and free online learning service for those over 18. They provide learners on their  programmes with any software they need, organise and cover the cost of certifications and resits, and provide online tutor support. Their programmes are part-time, very flexible, and designed to fit around the busy lives of adult learners. Programmes are mainly in the digital skills, business, ICT and related subject areas.
