Safefood Community Food Initiative 2022-2024.

South Kerry Development Partnership are delighted to be working with Aine Coleman on a new healthy eating programme funded through the Safefood Community Food Initiative 2022-2024.

We are beginning our programme with a small group project in Killorglin. Aine Coleman will lead this 4 week programme working with participants on improving their cooking skills and their knowledge of healthy eating. Aine has been a registered nutritionist since 2017. She has a BSc in Nutrition & Health Science and MSc in Human Nutrition. Aine’s passion is making nutrition accessible for everyone. Her main area of interest is gut health and helping people improve their relationship with food. Aine currently has her own online practice.  Aine also works as a nutrition consultant for other clinics and companies from online consultation to hosting webinars and creating online events etc.

The next small group project will take place in Killarney later this year. Our target group for this project is low income families with children under 12. If you want any more information on this programme or are interested in taking part please contact Carol Naughton, SICAP Education and Training Officer, South Kerry Development Partnership. 087 963 1935 / [email protected].
