Failte Isteach
Failte Isteach – volunteer English Conversation Tutors required!
In conjunction with Third Age Ireland, SKDP ran a very successful English Language Conversation programme May/ June this year. This programme provides free English Conversation classes to migrant workers etc who wish to improve their spoken English. Volunteer tutors were trained by Failte Isteach staff and over 20 students completed the initial 6-week programme. The programme is about to re-commence and we are recruiting more volunteer tutors.

Some Useful Documents for Sustainable Use Directive Pesticides Course Participants
New EU regulation with regard to the purchase and usage of pesticides comes into force in Ireland from November this year. This regulation will require users of pesticides to hold a certificate to confirm they have successfully completed the relative training with regard to all elements of pesticide usage and to maintain appropriate records. Below are drafts of documents that can be used by Professional Users in order to comply with the regulations.
