South Kerry Development Partnership CLG. has recently launched a Guide to assist groups interested in developing Social Enterprises in Kerry. Entitled “Starting a Social Enterprise In Kerry – A Guide”, it was launched at an event in mid November, in Kerry Mental Health Association as part of our Strategy to Develop and Promote social Enterprise in South Kerry. The booklet was developed in collaboration with NEWKD and is aimed at new and emerging social enterprises. The guide includes all aspects of starting a social enterprise in Kerry including Governance, Finance, Marketing, Measuring social Impact and all the networks and supports that are available. It also includes many templates which can be easily used by new groups when formulating their constitution, forming their boards and committees and building a business plan.
